Slatter City Bowling League MVP

DAVID Slatter of Telco Enterprises was named the most valuable player of the City Bowling League competition Monday night after he rolled a 653 high three game set. His team-mate Johann Pyfrom was the runner-up after he downed the pins for a 644 second high set. Anthony Ingraham of NUA Crusaders crushed the pins for a huge 268 high game followed by a 238 from Sonith Lockhart of Carib Construction.

Driskell Rolle of the Asurewin Pocket Pleasers was the ladies' MVP with a 214 high game and a respectable 576 high three game set. Rolle was followed by Kayla Nixon of CDM Knights with a 504 second high set. The second high game was a 189 from Angie Smith of NUA Crusaders.

The evening was also the opening round of the 2nd half of league play. The top two teams from each half qualify for a playoff spot. Ten Back Strikers and Telco Enterprises qualified in the first half and would now be fighting for a first round bye. Other teams continue the fight for a playoff spot.
