Woman in hospital after being stabbed

A WOMAN is in hospital after she was stabbed during a fight yesterday morning.

Police said the 22-year-old was with a group of women at a home on Malcolm Road around 1am yesterday when they got into an argument, resulting in the victim being stabbed.

The woman was taken to hospital where her condition is listed as stable.

Meanwhile, police in Grand Bahama are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Freeport business on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, shortly after 9pm two masked suspects entered a business on Logwood Road and Yellow Pine Street brandishing a firearm. The thieves robbed the cashier of personal items, took an undetermined amount of money from the cash register and fled.

The investigations continue.
