THE College of the Bahamas men's basketball team has been competing in the New Providence Basketball Association in preparation for the collegiate season.
The team, coached by Sean Bastian and assisted by Kirk Basden, have won their last two games to improve their record to 3-7.
Their latest victims were the Y-Care Wreckers, whom the Caribs defeated 80-79 at the CI Gibson gym Wednesday night.
The Caribs are slated to be back in action 7pm Saturday when they take on the Real Deal Shockers.
Making up the Caribs' team - managed by Aston Woodside - are frontcourt players Lorenzo Rolle, a sophomore forward who at 6-1 is a graduate of Bahamas Academy.
Other players include Earnal Monroe, a 6-3 freshman forward/center of Aquinas College, Alvano Laing, a 6-4 freshman forward from Bishop Michael Eldon High in Grand Bahama, Charles Taylor, a 6-4 sophomore center from Bahamas Academy, Kirkwood Williams, a 6-3 sophomore forward of RM Bailey, Reuben Goodman, a 5-10 sophomore forward of Preston Albury High, Eleuthera, Glen Davis, a 6-3 freshman forward from CR Walker, Dwight Moss, a 6-1 freshman forward from St John's College and Charles Miller, a 6-3 freshman forward/center from Aquinas College.
The backcourt players consist of Roland Horton, a 5-9 freshman shooting guard from Doris Johnson, Anthony Sands, a 5-9 sophomore guard from Queen's College, Aaron Cash, a 6-0 freshman guard from Jordan Prince Williams High and Jude Vila, a 5-10 junior guard from Abaco Central High.
