SIX people are recovering in hospital after three separate weekend shootings.
A 28-year-old resident of Amos Ferguson Street became the first shooting victim after he was gunned down at Union Village, off Wulff Road, sometime around 1am Saturday.
The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The second incident occurred shortly after 9pm on Saturday when two men were shot at Dorsette Alley, off West Street. The victims were taken to hospital where they remain in stable condition.
The last three victims, ages 33, 37 and 40, were shot at Club 30 off Tonique Williams Darling Highway, sometime around 5am Sunday.
According to police, the victims were taken to hospital by EMS personnel and private vehicle and are currently in stable condition. Active investigations continue into all three shooting incidents.
* On Friday, Harbour Island police uncovered a handgun and ammunition from under a house at Bay and Duke streets.While no arrests were made, active police investigations continue.
* Three men and two women were taken into custody on Friday after officers searched a home on Arawak Avenue, off Kemp Road, and discovered a large quantity of suspected marijuana.
* Police are requesting the public's help in locating the two men responsible for an armed robbery at Garden Hills.
Shortly after 1am on Thursday, a man was robbed of his cash outside his home by two men armed with handguns.
It is reported that the culprits robbed the man of an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area on foot. Active police investigations continue.
