FREEPORT - Police found a back-pack containing $6,000 worth of marijuana hidden in bushes.
ASP Loretta Mackey reported that officers of the Police Mobile Patrol Unit were on routine patrol at around 11.47pm on Clarke Avenue when they saw persons acting in a suspicious manner near a bushy area.
A search of the bushes turned up a blue and black back-pack containing six pounds of marijuana.
A small container with several foil packages containing marijuana was also discovered nearby.
Ms Mackey said no arrests were made, but the investigation remains active.
