POLICE were last night investigating the country's eighth homicide for the year. The bullet-riddled body of a man was found lying on the side of Adelaide Road, near the Oasis Restaurant, shortly before 5pm. After receiving reports of gunshots being fired in the area, police discovered the victim's body with multiple wounds in his upper body and head.
