THE Bahamas National Trust paid a courtesy call on new Minister of the Environment Kenred Dorsett.
They discussed a variety of issues including the work of the BNT regarding protected areas.
The minister emphasised the importance of BNT wardens with regards to national security in remote areas.
He remarked on the strong working relationship between the ministry and the BNT and said he looked forward to strengthening and improving that relationship.
"There is much work to be done, and we value our relationship with the BNT and hope to see it grow," Mr Dorsett said.
President Neil McKinney thanked the minister for meeting with the Trust so soon after being appointed to office and invited the minister to visit the National Parks on New Providence at his earliest convenience.
