WHILE the government and police continue to devise new methods to combat the Bahamas' growing crime dilemma, The Big T this week asks if both entities are failing to address the root of the problem.
In our weekly columns, John Marquis in "Marquis at Large" compares the UK's Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow - whom he calls a contender for the title of "The Most Thoroughly Disliked Person in Westminster" - with Alvin Braynen of the Bahamas, "the political enigma elevated to the Speaker's chair by Lynden Pindling 45 years ago".
In the conclusion to his two-part review of the FNM's Cabinet, Adrian Gibson in "A Young Man's View" this week lists his five best ministers - after last week naming Tommy Turnquest, Carl Bethel, Sidney Collie, Neko Grant, Claire Hepburn and Sir Michael Barnett as the worst the FNM had to offer during its five years in office.
In our music section, "In Ya Other Ear", find out where and when you can get to see one of your favourite groups from yesteryear - the Grammy-nominated T-Connection are back and ready to go.
As always, The Big T will also feature "Pet of the Week", "Why You Vex" and "Street Talk."
