MORE than 100 drivers were caught committing traffic violations yesterday as the Police Traffic Division launched Operation Clean Street.
The operation was conducted between 10am and 1pm at the Nassau Street roundabout.
At the end of the operation, 48 drivers were cited for offences such as driving an unlicensed vehicle, displaying invalid inspection certificates, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, having heavily tinted windows, and driving a defective vehicle.
In addition, 69 drivers were caught driving without a seat belt.
