POLICE were called to the Baillou Hill Road Clinic yesterday when a disgruntled man “lost control” and threatened medical staff and patients with violence.
The man, according to eye witnesses, was among the scores of people who, in preparation for the opening of schools on Monday, crowded the clinic for physicals and immunisation shots.
After having been at the facility for the most part of the morning, eye witnesses said the man became angry when he was told by staff that he would not be allowed to enter the clinic until noon when it opened, despite a heavy downpour of rain.
Several employees, The Tribune was told, also left the clinic, claiming their lives were in danger.
