A 14-YEAR-OLD was fighting for her life in hospital yesterday after being shot because she had no cash to give to the gunman.
The teenager, of Nassau Village, was walking on Catherine Street just before 9am yesterday when she was approached by a man known to her, demanding cash.
She told him she had nothing to give, and he shot her repeatedly. She was taken to hospital via EMS where she was last night in a critical condition.
Another shooting took place around 7.30pm on Friday.
The victims, ages 17 and 18, were standing outside a business in Augusta Street off Poinciana Drive, when they were shot by a gunman in a white Nissan Sentra.
One teen was shot in the foot and the other in the arm.
Both were taken to hospital and were in a stable condition.
On Saturday, just before 1am, a 26-year-old of Bacardi Road was at a dance in the road when he got into a row with another man and was stabbed.
He was taken to hospital where he was in a stable condition yesterday.
Police investigations continue.

I hope the young lady fully recovers; It just seems as if there is more to this story than is being reported.

Who expects a 14 year old to have cash? A tragedy, and I wish the victim the best, but I agree...something's missing here....
