THE Little Pink Party “The District” lived up to its promise of providing the ultimate shopping party for the thousands of Bahamians who attended the event last week.
The annual fashion, business networking and shopping event hosted by KhanAali Media Group was a “huge success”, according to Kandice Hanna, event founder and organiser.
The event featured exhibitors in clothing, accessories, beauty, cosmetics, food, beverage, health wellness, lifestyle and culture. The day long event catered to women of all ages and supported the Cancer Society of the Bahamas with the introduction of The Little Pink Box. Part proceeds from every purchase go to support the fight against breast cancer.
“The event went exceptionally well. It was stella. We experienced a great turnout. The even saw about 2000 attendees. Many of the attendees were able to score big at the event. We had a number of people win roundtrip tickets, hotel stays on the Family Islands, and gift certificates. Some people won phone cards, and much more. We gave away a car too and over 700 prizes “ she said Ms Hanna.
The lucky winner of “The Little Pink Toot Toot” was 17-year-old Robin Campbell, a 12th grade student at Queen’s College.
“Some people may not see it as big, but for us to give away a car, that was a big deal. We are a very young business and we had to purchase that car so this was a big milestone for us,” she said. Throughout the event there were fashion showcases, entertainment as well as fitness demonstrations.
During the event, the winner of the “It Girl Spokesmodel Competition” was revealed. The winner was to 23-year-old Crystal Glinton, a college graduate, who won a phone and a cosmetic basket.
She will be featured in two local magazines, ad campaigns for the event and will appear with The Little Pink Party Team during community service activities.
“I really enjoyed my experience at the event and behind the scenes. I entered the competition because I found the goal of the event appealing and the fact that they are donating to the fight against breast cancer. I really love the event because it gives you the opportunity to just be a lady. At the event I got to meet a lot of people and network. The event exceeded my expectation,” Crystal said.
The Little Pink Party started out as a small pre-celebration for the first Sex In The City movie launch back in 2008. It has blossomed into one of the most highly anticipated shopping parties, attracting thousands of patrons yearly.

I like their clothes, although these girls weren't dressed for this pink party theme. I believe that a pink Jimmy Jazz Clothing idea is better for this evening. Maybe next year! Meanwhile how was the party?

They are so popular because they offer an unique shopping experience to the shoppers. Online outlets too offer some of the most amazing deals to the customers. I am an arborist by profession and I buy my arborist supplies from ArborTechSupply.com.

That must have been a grand event and the shoppers must have had a rollicking time at the event. However, online outlets offer the most trendiest of items, I was recently surprised to find killer punk dresses at angryyoungandpoor.com.

A shopping party sounds like a fascinating idea to me. I think every shopper would want to attend a party like this. Although I love shopping, I hate the crowded stores which is why I shop online. Even for my little nephew I buy the gifts from www.stuckonyou.co.uk.

It is an exclusive outlet for people who love fashion. As a shopper I usually prefer shopping destinations which offer something unique in terms of product and shopping environment. That is the reason I prefer shopping from places like Fords.

Every shopper would love to do attend such a cool shopping party. However, I think online outlets are the most perfect places to find exclusive products. Recently my neighbor bought exclusive personalized mother's necklace from http://www.themothersnecklace.com/.
