I have a voice

EDITOR, The Tribune.

A few weeks ago Bahamas Press came out with a blast email about how it was so furious with the PLP since they did not seem to be fulfilling its mandate since the election, I didn’t buy it. For years leading up to the May 7th elections they (BP) trashed the FNM government on a daily basis on Facebook and then seemed to have us to believe that it did a 180 in a few short weeks – I said I would... watch how it played out to

my surprise they are back to bashing the FNM even though the FNM is now in opposition.

I have questioned who was/is Bahamas Press in the first place because every word out of Bradley Roberts’ mouth seems to be reported and it seems that Bradley Roberts seems more then delighted to post comments from Bahamas Press, no matter how “Vile or Vicked”.

BP has made a campaign against the local media, calling it the “WUTLESS MEDIA”, this would seem to fit with the PLP agenda; an attack on the media and free speech. They, the PLP, have only been in office for a

little over fifty days and already have “warned” the press/media about what they called “biased reporting.” For your information

just because a person does not believe in your message and voices their opinion against it, does not necessarily

make them biased against you. Maybe, just maybe, they have a different opinion and maybe you may need to check your message or maybe you need to agree to not agree and move on. But to threaten free speech?

Remember that they have the right under this constitution to disagree with you and voice that disagreement!

Whatever happened to “I HAVE A VOICE?”
