POLICE INVESTIGATES MURDER/SUICIDE

A 33-year-old woman of Cox Way is dead after being shot by a 22-year-old man who subsequently shot himself, according to police reports.

Police say at about 12:30 am this morning, officers received information that a female was shot at Cox Way off East Street.

When officers responded they were confronted by the man who opened fire on them, resulting in three officers being shot, police said. The officers were taken to hospital where they were treated and discharged, according to their reports.

Police said the the woman was taken to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Additional officers responded to the scene and upon entering a home discovered the man with a gunshot injury to the head, according to their reports. Police said they recovered a shotgun from the deceased. Active police investigations continue.

Yet the residents in Key West street wants to speak out at the police when in that incident they (the police) did not hesitate to return fire. Keep it up officers, kill em all and let God sort them out. Like in Key West street, you dont have to worry about long court time or these criminals returning to the streets on bail or even winning the court case.
