TWO separate shootings left two young men in hospital over the weekend.

The first incident occurred on Friday night, when a 27-year-old man was walking east on Parkgate Road.

It was reported that the victim heard gunshots, then realised he had been hit in the leg.

The Kemp Road resident was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle, and is now listed in stable condition.

On Saturday morning, a 25-year-old Golden Gates man was shot in the back near the corner of Market and Hay Streets.

He was also taken to hospital in a private car and is listed in serious condition.
