THIS year, The Little Pink Party plans to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of women. The annual fashion, business networking and shopping event will be held at the British Colonial Hilton, Saturday, under the theme "Summer So Bright".
Thirteen year old hair accessory designer Alexia Darville is one of the female entrepreneurs who will benefit from the fun and entertaining event, hosted by KhanAali Media Group.
"She actually was interested in purchasing a booth, but we gave it to her because we want to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in women and Bahamians in general. It is really about celebrating womanhood as well as progression," said Kandice Hanna, event founder and principle creative.
The day long event caters to women of all ages. It was designed and conceptualised to be a weekend for girlfriends, while supporting a worthy cause, according to organisers. Proceeds from the event are donated to support the fight against breast cancer.
Ms Hanna said this year's event is going to be bigger than ever, offering much more entertainment and festivities.
"This is our fifth year anniversary and were pulling out all of the stops. We have a female DJ, fashion shows, total makeovers, the straight talk no chaser panel and much more. All of those things, we have never done before," said Ms Hanna.
She said Image Stylist Kedar Klarke, who will be styling the models on Saturday, will be styling them based on three of Sky Bahamas' destinations, which are: Cat Island, Exuma and Fort Lauderdale.
"We want to try to encourage people to go back to the days when they enjoyed Summer time fun in the Bahamas, through cuisine, fashion and entertainment," she said
The event will be featuring exhibitors in clothing, accessories, beauty, cosmetics, food, beverage, health wellness, lifestyle and culture.
The Beauty Suite presented by Sally Hansen will feature express makeovers, spa treatments and manicures. The Wellness and Fitness Suite presented by Bay Street Medical and Club One Fitness will feature free health screenings, fitness demonstrations, and live cooking demonstrations by celebrated local chefs.
The Food and Beverage Suite presented by Phil's Food Services, will feature summer-inspired cuisine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on sale. And the Kids Suite presented by Dreams Investment Group, will provide entertainment for children ages 4-12, who accompany their parents to The Little Pink Party.
According to organisers, the first 500 attendees will score entry swag from Sally Hansen with gifts from participating sponsors. From live cooking demonstrations and sample summer cuisine and pastries to fitness demonstrations and free health screenings, there will be a lot of activities to chose from.

I love this summer parties! I found them very refreshing. But like all the big fan of this parties, I know that you have to look amazing always. Going to gym is part of my daily program, but I also combine them with d-bol and the result is amazing.
