The Police continue to BLUNDER! They have made a big mistake by doing this to Rodney Moncur!

As far as I am aware we have heard nothing from the Police Commissioner concerning the investigation or the persons who distributed the photos of the mutilated body of Nellie Brown. I would be very interested in the particulars supporting this alleged crime because if the facts are that he is being charged for posting photos of the man that died in police custody then it would be a very sad day in our Bahamaland and I would be proud to stand with him in this matter. My fellow Bahamians our history and circumstance have not frequently acquainted us with the creed "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely" but if we continue to stand by while the civil liberties of our fellowmen are trampled upon it is only a matter of time before we are next.

I don't know the facts about Mr Moncur and his arrest so I cant speak on that,but I know Mr Moncur to be outspoken on national issues,what offends many,but I think the police could have just questioned him and let him go,after all the gruesome photos of a young woman was posted online also and we have yet to hear something..........................................

What if Rodney Moncur was found dead in his cell between now and tomorrow morning?...the commisioner of police has definitely compromised himself on this one. On the one hand he is saying he wants to weed out corrupt officers and those engaged in misconduct on the force, but yet he is charging some one who is trying to expose the result of their misbehaviour with a grossly 'indecent act' You can't have it both ways Mr. Commissioner. what do you want to stop..the persons reporting the 'grossly indecent acts' comitted by your policemen or you wanna stop your policemen from commiting grossly indecent acts?
