IN an article published on June 20, The Tribune incorrectly reported that the Bahamas was classified as a Tier 2 Watch List country in the US State Department’s Trafficking in Persons (TIPS) Report for 2013.

In fact, the US government has removed the Tier 2 Watch status and upgraded the Bahamas to a Tier 2 country.
