A BODY was found in the South Beach Canal yesterday, making it the second in less than a month, discovered in that area.

However, unlike the July 29 discovery of murder-victim Anthony Fox Rolle’s bloodied body in bushes, an autopsy will have to be performed on the unidentified man pulled from the shore yesterday to determine the cause of death.

As active police investigations continue into yesterday’s 9am discovery of the dark skin male, police have not made any arrests in connection with the discovery of Rolle’s murder.

Rolle, a resident of Kennedy Subdivision, was found in bushes off an isolated track road on the north-side of the South Beach canal.

He was wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet. Two fired gun cartridges were found near the body, according to police.

Both discoveries are under investigation.
