RESIDENTS and firefighters joined forces to battle a blaze that broke out at a residence in Hope Town, Abaco, yesterday afternoon.

No one was thought to be hurt in the fire, in no small part thanks to the efforts of locals who fought to prevent the fire from spreading to other homes.
