A 25-year-old motorcyclist became the country’s latest traffic fatality when he was involved in a collision with a car early yesterday morning.
The accident happened around 4:50am.
Police say the accident
occurred on Carmichael Road, west of Golden Isles Road, involving a woman driver of a 1999 Nissan Maxima. The man on the motorcycle died of his injuries at the scene. Police have not released his identity, but The Tribune understands he is Delano Adderley.
Investigations continue.
In other news, police are seeking the public’s help in locating the person responsible for a shooting that left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
It happened on Friday.
Police say the victim was walking on Baillou Hill Road, when he was approached by a man armed with a handgun who shot him multiple times, then fled on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was listed in critical condition last night.

I have eyes. I recently narrowly missed knocking down a police officer who weaved on the side then in front of my car. I'm still not sure why I didn't see him coming up on the side of me. Like everything else, the law which requires motorcycles to be operated like a regular vehicle, i.e. staying in the line of traffic, has been lost to the dustbin. Most people believe motorcyclists are supposed to weave in and out of traffic, the police officers *do it themselves*
