POLICE have a 22-year-old man in custody in connection with the alleged abuse of a year old baby boy in Marsh Harbour, Abaco.
The child was airlifted to Nassau Tuesday afternoon when doctors in Abaco discovered “visible bruises” all over his body.
According to Superintendent Noel Curry, Officer in Charge of the Abaco District, the baby was taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic by his mother around 8:45pm Monday.
His injuries, however, were so severe he was airlifted to the Princess Margaret Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
Supt Curry told The Tribune police now have a man in custody assisting them with their investigation. He confirmed that the man is the boyfriend of the mother.
Supt Curry said it is too early in the investigation to tell if or what charges will be pressed. He said police expect a doctor’s report detailing the baby’s injuries today.
Investigations continue.

So sad...people are too trusting nowadays. We as mothers need to be more responsible in choosing who we allow around our kids. The bible tells us not to trust our very own...Now I am not one to advocate violence but this man need to get a good cut a$$.
