Money, motives and the search for meaning

By Michelle M Miller

If you paid close attention to the rhythm of life, you will notice that life always gives you exactly what you are asking for.  Whether it is good for you or not, once you ask - life lovingly answers. This is the incredible power of the Law of Attraction, which says in part that you get what you give your attention to, whether you want it or not.

This is really one of my favourite universal laws because not only is it powerful, but it has the most profound effect on our lives.

The struggle for many however, is that they are simply unaware of universal laws and their life-changing authority.  And against the backdrop of not knowing, many hastily move through life, often frustrated and unfulfilled.

As such, despite habits of New Year’s resolutions to improve their life, year after year, they remain in this foggy state of mind, not understanding how their life functions or why there’s no progress.

Here’s the point, life is gigantic and very specific.  It operates on universal laws that hugely impacts our lives; directly influencing our life outcomes.  In particular, when it comes to money, motives and sense of meaning, these laws are constantly at play.

Since this is the case, it is critical that you become familiar with this laws and how they can help you master your life.  As another new year gets it feet wet; the big question to consider is - in the grand scheme of things, where will your attention be in 2013?

This question holds enormous value;

especially when it comes to money.  Have you noticed that those who complain about not having enough money – usually don’t.  Much of the present-day understanding about money is misleading at best.  For example, the notion to clarify your motives and sense of meaning when it comes to money carries very little value.

A lot of it is due to the habit of unawareness, but also due to   misinformation.  Moreover, in a money-oriented society, the idea of unearthing your motives and finding meaning are difficult tasks to take on.  Because money itself has seemingly become a culture; taking many minds hostage and placing a strangle hold in most faucets of society.

Due to this faulty perception of money, it is important to put things in perspective.  Understand that money in and of itself is not the ultimate goal.  Having money just for having it is pointless.  The fact is, you cannot literally eat or drink the money; nor can it shelter you from the storms.  In very general terms, its purpose is merely a means of exchange; a representation of value in which you exchange the value of your money for the value of goods and services.

Many have become so hung up on money mainly because they have not examined money for themselves.  Instead, they have outsourced their understanding to the purported money experts.  Your capacity to live a purpose-driven life depends on your willingness to take the lead; expanding your sense of awareness by getting quality information.  You cannot grow if you do not know.

Remember, the development of the real estate of your mind is your responsibility.  To be unaware or misinformed will result in a life of misunderstanding.

Today, reevaluate what you know about money, motives and meaning.  The simple act of seeking a broader understanding will summons the amazing power of the law of attraction and all of its life transforming authority.  Remember, universal laws work, whether you believe them or not

Ultimately, life is an adventure!  But you can only enjoy this journey if you keep growing and improving.  Now is time to take the lead and shift your life paradigm!
