JERMAINE Russell, 33, of Pinewood Gardens was arraigned before Magistrate Constance Delancey yesterday in connection a July 7 armed robbery.
It is claimed that on the day in question, Russell, while armed with a firearm, broke the window of Herbert Brown’s Nissan vehicle and robbed him of $295 at gunpoint.
The damage to the car is valued at $80.
Russell was not required to enter a plea to the charges due to their nature. He was told that his case would be fast tracked to the Supreme Court for trial on September 26 through a Voluntary Bill of Indictment.
Russell has retained attorney Tonique Lewis to defend him.
