BREAKING NEWS: Rodney Moncur's house destroyed in fire

The home of community activist Rodney Moncur burned down earlier this morning.

Mr Moncur said his house on Heritage Lane caught fire around 4am and has been completely destroyed.

Mr Moncur has been the focus of media attention recently after he was charged with “committing a grossly indecent act” by posting a picture of a man who died in police custody on his Facebook page.

This just stinks of PLP and police thuggery...may be wrong, but I smell a rat...of course any investigations into the cause of the fire will most definitely NOT find any suspicious arson related clues. Guvment dem probably got fire services clammed up as well with allowing the truth.

You really have to wonder about justice and the cirminal element in this country. Just sitting in court where a magistrate gave a man 18 months SUSPENDED sentence for chopping up is step son and chopping off two of his fingers. He was only stopped from chopping the teen a third time across the head, probaby inflicting a fatal wound, by a yonger brother and now he gets a suspended sentence. This is after the magistrate put the matte roff seven or eighttimes claiming the notes were not ready. Case draged on for nearly two years So you chop a young man half to death and walk free. Free as a bird>>.welcome to the Bahamas!

Rodney Moncur claims he got numerous threats before his office then home was burned to the ground. In trial that the magistrate gave a ruling today, the man who chopped his step son to near death was making threats to other family members even during the trial. But the prbation report claims he is a law abiding citizen. Where is the report tat showed he kidnapped his ex wife just prior to the incident where he maimed this teenager? Or the reports made o the police where he tried to collect the children of the victim's sister without her permission? Or the incident where he was fired from a tour compny because he bragged so saliciously to a tourist about how he had chopped up this young man with a machete that the tourist grew in fear for her own life and jumped from the tour bus and ran in panic.
