Women urged: Love yourself from head to toe

DURING January and February, every woman who had a mammogram at Doctors Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Center was automatically entered in the hospital’s ‘Love Yourself From Head To Toe’ promotion.

Women were encouraged to take the time to do something special for themselves and to love themselves fully. This includes getting a yearly mammogram, especially for women over the age of 40. Doctors Hospital teamed up with Baha-Retreat Spa on East Bay Street for the special pampering promotion and owner Kenya McKenzie provided the prize: a Special Pampering Escape Spa Package including an Aromatherapy Massage, a Vitamin C Facial, a Classic Manicure and a Spa Pedicure.

“We decided to partner up with Doctors Hospital, because anything that helps improve health and gets women to get their mammogram done, interests us very much”, she explained.

The lucky winner was Denine Cambridge who said: “When I got the call, I thought ‘Oh my gosh, what happened?’ I knew all my results were fine, but I thought something happened to somebody else. When I heard I had won this prize, I was shocked. I wasn’t even aware that I was entered to win anything.”

When asked when she is planning to make the appointment to enjoy her Escape Spa Package, Ms Cambridge responded excitedly: “Very soon - like this month”.

The winners of the three free mammograms were Valderine Small, Mary T Anderson and Megan Bethel, who because of her young age gave her gift certificate away to her mother.

How about human beings of all genders urged to love themselves, there is an interesting thing about self-esteem, it comes from self achievement & value, enough with the feminist b.s.
