A DRAMATIC video showing a jet ski accident on a beach in the Bahamas has been making waves around the world, with the Daily Express newspaper in London yesterday ranking it as its most viewed story in the world on its website.
The video, believed to have been taken in 2011 but which has resurfaced on YouTube in the past couple of days, was taken by Brian Prahl near Nygard Cay in western New Providence. It shows the moment a young woman, posing for photographs, narrowly escapes serious injury as one jet ski crashes into and flies over another on the edge of the beach.
Mr Prahl, an amateur videographer, wrote on Facebook: “This is a wreck that I caught out of the corner of my eye while shooting two girls that were taking photos of each other before going on a jetski ride. I had to no idea why the girl was happy and then at the last second scared as I panned to my left and saw this other crazy jetski guy literally jump her jetski like a ramp!
“She had the craziest instinct to get off of the jetski at the last second to save her head - literally. The couple on the other jetski went flying into the sand after flying super high in the air. Thank God no one was hurt in the end.”
He added yesterday: “Still can’t believe how crazy this footage was that I shot back in the day ... this girl def had good intuition.”

This video smells fake...from the lackluster response of the women, the lack of damage to the jet ski and the suspicious pan to the left as the oncoming jetski approached...to the lack of registration numbers, I say fake. Also the "videographer" works as a paparazzi photographer for Splash news sooooooo...
