A JET SKI operator was “targeted” and shot in broad daylight at Arawak Cay on Saturday afternoon during a weekend of violence that left five people in hospital suffering from various gunshot and stab wounds.

Around 1pm near the Fish Fry, off West Bay Street, an area popular with tourists and locals, police reported two unknown armed assailants shot a male jet ski operator in the area of the old Customs Warehouse Building as he was about to put his machine in the water.

The suspects fled on foot and the victim was taken to hospital, where he is listed in serious, but stable condition.

In a second incident around 1am yesterday, police said two men were walking on Minnie Street and Cordeaux Avenue when three men armed with handguns robbed them of cash and a cell phone. The suspects shot the men in their legs before fleeing on foot.

The victims were taken to hospital by ambulance where they were last listed in stable condition.

About two hours later, police were called to the scene of another shooting – this time off Ferguson Street. Police said a woman was near Dumping Ground Corner when she was shot in the arm by an unknown suspect. She was taken to hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

Police are also investing two separate stabbing incidents.

The first took place shortly after 9pm on Friday off Tonique Williams Darling Highway.

According to police, the victim was at a bar off the highway when two men known to him, stabbed him multiple times before fleeing on foot. He was taken to hospital where he is listed in serious, but stable condition.

In the second incident, shortly after midnight on Saturday, a man was attending a party at Bacardi Road when a group of men stabbed him in the head with an unknown object. The victim was taken to hospital, where he is also listed in serious but stable condition.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact police at 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 328-TIPS.

Psychic ability enables me to use extrasensory perception to determine these incidents were perpetrated by different people who are out on bail.

I am also getting the perception that the PLP & FNM S-U-C-K-S and will be defeated in 2017.

Stay tuned.
