POLICE are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the upscale area of Royal Palm Way early Monday morning.

A man was in a parking lot on Royal Palm Way around midnight when he was held up and robbed by a man armed with an unidentified object.

The culprit robbed the man of his Samsung cell phone and his wallet containing $23 in cash.

The suspect is a light-skinned male with braided hair. He is about 5’ 8” of slim build, and was wearing all black clothing.

Inspector Terecita Pinder said police are investigating the matter.
