TWO men are fighting for their lives in hospital following a drive by shooting early Saturday morning.

It happened around 2am.

Police say three men and a woman were standing in front of an apartment complex on Kemp Road when the occupants of a red Honda Fit pulled up and opened fire on them before speeding off.

One of the men was shot multiple times and the other received a gunshot wound in his lower abdomen.

Both victims were taken to hospital by ambulance where they are listed in serious condition. The woman was not injured.

Investigations are ongoing.

In other crime news, police are asking for the public’s help in locating four men responsible for robbing three women in three separate incidents over the weekend.

A few hours later, around midnight,  a woman was walking in the area of Eneas Jumper Corner and East Street, when a man armed with a handgun approached her and robbed her of cash and two cell phones before fleeing on foot.

In the final incident, shortly before 2am on Saturday a woman was standing outside a liquor store on Malcolm Road when a man armed with a handgun approached her and robbed her of a 2002 black Honda Lexus vehicle before speeding off.

Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to contact police at 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS.
