Storm forms in central tropical Atlantic

Tropical Depression Two formed in the Atlantic Ocean 1,200 miles east of the Lesser Antilles yesterday, the Bahamas Meteorology Department has reported.

It remains far out to sea and is not expected to threaten land.

Forecasters said at 6pm that the storm is moving west at 16mph, with maximum sustained winds near 35mph. Little change is expected in the next few days and it is expected to weaken by Thursday.

Meant to blow itself out by Thursday...unless it reforms, we will likely just end up with some squally weather.
