Negative letters

EDITOR, The Tribune.

Someone who calls themself an FNM Supporter is constantly bad mouthing the leader with various letters to the editor. The last one was seen in a popular newspaper just this morning.

I have a word of advice for the so-called “strong supporter”. Bad mouthing and bringing down an opponent is usually the least effective way of getting the support of the electorate. Trust me, it ain’t working!

How about using your precious time to tell us who you think would make the best leader. Tell us who has proven themselves, not just as a better speaker, spewing more than just hot air eloquently, but someone who has a record of methodically and consistently getting important things done.

Are you really a strong supporter of the FNM or are you working for the PLP? If you were really a true supporter, of the FNM, the goal would be to keep the FNM team focused on productive and constructive conversations, not conversations that bad mouth its leader with an attempt to destroy his reputation and by extension the reputation of the party.

Let Dr. Minnis’ opponent(s) win on their own merit. Let them win because of what they are, not because of what he is not. Remember, class never tries to build itself up by tearing others down.

“Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another, but let him work diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built.” Abraham Lincoln

ChaosObserver says...

Too bad the "news papers" were not so diehard "party loyal" instead of reporting the news with neutrality, fairness, less sensationalism, correctly, and grammatically correctness and had journalist that were not just "agenda pushers" or "talking mouths"...but then I'm probably living in a make believe world....
