POLICE are appealing to the public for help in solving an armed robbery in the Coral Harbour area on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, sometime around 6pm, a 25-year-old male resident of Coral Vista Estates was at the Coral Harbour Park, when he was accosted by three men.
One of the assailants was armed with a knife.
The men robbed him of jewellery and a small amount of cash before stabbing him in his hand, police said. He was later treated for his injuries, which are not life threatening.
• Police arrested a man who was driving a stolen car in the early hours of yesterday after Mobile Unit officers stopped a black Honda Accord on Marcus Bethel Way.
After making a check of the vehicle, it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen. The 28-year-old male driver of South Beach was arrested and taken to the Central Detective Unit.
He was also found in possession of a large assortment of licence plates in a backpack.
