GRAND Bahama police have released the identity of the woman killed on Wednesday in a traffic accident as 78-year-old Lydia Dea Saunders of 21 Albacore Drive, Lucaya.

Ms Saunders, who is the owner of a travel/tour company, was travelling north on Seahorse Road when she lost control of her grey Honda, which went off the road in the median and crashed into a tree. She was taken to hospital, where she died.

Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
