GRAND Bahama police are investigating two separate robberies that occurred in Freeport over the weekend.
According to police reports, a man, walking in the area of Independence Park on Sunday, was robbed of cash by two men. There was no description of the men.
In another matter, a woman was held up and robbed at gunpoint on Saturday evening.
Reports are that around 9pm, a gunman approached a woman on Santa Maria Drive, South Bahamia, and robbed her of cash and a cellular phone.
The gunman is described as 5’9” tall, of medium build and fair complexion. He was wearing a dark blue hooded jacket and blue jeans.
