A man was found shot dead in front of a pre-school at Ethel Street, Montel Heights this morning. Police believe he was shot around 12.30am, when, according to reports, a group of persons were sitting on a wall when several men in a grey Honda Accord pulled up and shot at the group.
One man was shot multiple times and is in hospital in a serious condition. The other victim, who is believed to be out on bail for murder, collapsed in front of the pre-school, where he died. However, his body was not discovered until around 8am this morning.
There were two other shooting incidents last night. At 8pm, a man was walking on Baillou Hill Road near Brougham Street, when a man in a grey Honda vehicle shot him to the left side of his body and sped off. The victim was transported to hospital, where he is detained in stable condition.
In the second incident, around the same time, a man was walking on Hay Street, when a man in a grey Honda vehicle shot him in the ankle and sped off. The victim is in a stable condition in hospital.

I thought he made 86? Is there an "official" number or do we depend on the media to keep count?

All these young men dying. Perhaps Bahamian parents should throw away all of the illegal firearms their kids are keeping in their parents house. "My poor loving son didn't even have time to draw his own illegal weapon and shoot the drug men trying to shoot him for ripping them off. It's not fair!!!! And where were the police? They know my good, loving son is a drug dealer/thief... they should be protecting him!!!"
