ABACO police are investigating the death of an elderly American citizen who was discovered floating in waters while snorkelling in Grand Bahama.

According to reports, a 70-year-old woman, who went on a snorkelling expedition shortly after 8am on Saturday, was found floating in an unconscious state. CPR was administered and EMS personnel were dispatched to the scene. She was later pronounced dead by a doctor and police are investigating the incident.
