EDITOR, The Tribune.
So Terneille Burrows, aka “Tada”, recently said that she is a part of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) community.
More than two weeks ago, she and another activist were trying to disclaim a letter by Dr Myles Munroe who correctly put this issue in the proper perspective. This turned to be a feeble attempt because the truth is the truth, no matter how people try to misconstrue it.
I am sorry, Tada, but your being a member of the LGBT community does not add any credence to this so-called movement. Star power doesn’t make it right.

I would much rather take the educated word of Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela who very much believe and promoted the human rights of ALL people (read the South African Constitution). At least these two men have some credibility as compared to the rather poorly educated and same old "fire and brimstone" rhetoric of some of our local Bahamian religiously perverted "ministers" who preach the same old tired drivel! I've always wondered where all the "love" is supposed to be in Christianity with all the hate being spewed by these so called Christians. It would appear that some so called Christians practice selective religion since they seem to ignore other so called abominations that are also in the Bible such as eating shell fish and pork which they conveniently ignore. Christianity is rapidly becoming a cult for the stupid and ignorant. Their argument against equality for all people just isn't working anymore. Time to join the 21st century.

No one is talking about hate here. This is a fundamental issue that cannot be 'Biblically' substantiated. You can twist and turn all you want.
There are a lot of wrong things happening in society that I am sure the Church needs to give more attention to. For example, even people who have sex before marriage is now accepted in society. This is one area the Church can talk more on. But the fact that it is happening doesn't make it right.
Churches that subscribe to the Holy Bible just can't pick and chose what they are going to believe.or preach on, They have a manual that should be followed.
If there are pastors, churches out there preaching or teaching something else, then they are all suspect. And trust me, there are a lot of them around.

Myles Munroe is far from been poorly educated even by the world standards. The gentleman have three bachelors degree and a masters. He has over a million books in print. He has been the featured speaker at several Fortune 500 companies including Sony. By the way they did not asked him to speak on Religion but on Leadership. You mentioned South Africa, he spoke there over five times and also address the South African Cabinet privately. I think that is pretty impressive even by your standard for a local poorly educated pastor.
