ON June 14, a bevy of teenage beauties from throughout the Bahamas will compete for the prestigious title of Miss Bahamas Teenager 2015, with the hopes of becoming the nation’s youth ambassador and represent the Bahamas at the Miss Teen Universe pageant in Costa Rica next February.
This year’s pageant competition will be held under theme ““Survival of the Beauties”. The pageant will start at 8pm and will be held at Super Club Breezes Bahamas.
Tickets for the Miss Bahamas Teenager Pageant preliminary events for the Unveiling, Swimsuit , Costume, Evening Gown and Talent competitions can be purchased as of Friday, April 24.
“For pageant fanatics, we have a list of prices for each preliminary event,” organisers said.
Word has it that the Miss Bahamas Teenager pageant contestants are all going to be “on fleek” for the upcoming event.
According to the organisers, some very intelligent, confident and purpose-driven beauties will grace the stage for the opportunity to win the title.
“We sincerely invite all students, family, friend, pageant lovers, and most of all the Bahamian public to come out and support our youth,” pageant officials said.
“Our goal is to achieve our mission by bringing out the personal best in our contestants through training and education; to promote the nation’s finest teenagers through our annual national pageant programme in the Bahamas.”
The programme consists of months of intense training, grooming, coaching, and preparation that will conclude with the coronation of a youth ambassador who will represent the country at the international pageant and at promotional events.
“Our mission is to provide a positive forum for well-rounded teen girls who aspire to enhance their development through pageantry. We promote strong leadership skills and social consciousness among young teen ladies,” organisers said. “We applaud academic achievement, encourage artistic expression and challenge young ladies to effect positive change in their world through humanitarian service. However, we want for our teenagers to discover their true purpose and find ways for fulfilling their true potential.”

I've always thought that black girls are having a beauty advantage when we are taking about features that are ment to make the difference in a beauty contest. For a while, I actually thought that there is some harmony between those big brown eyes and big lips. But now, I guess that is all about their skin, which is stunning.
