THE College of the Bahamas (COB) has closed its Oakes Field Campus due to severe flooding from heavy rain.
The school said the campus is closed effective immediately, except for essential staff including physical plant, security, and senior administrators who are remaining on campus.
This closure does not include the Grosvenor Close Campus nor the Northern Bahamas Campus in Grand Bahama.
Classes are suspended and offices are closed for the remainder of Tuesday including evening classes at the Oakes Field Campus, COB said.

What about plans to open? Daughter had an 8am Wednesday class @ CHMI (pink building) so would have to know the night before if classes were happening the next day. Please get organized with your 'news/information' COB. Web-site is useless; has info from 2008-2013.

How much is Perry's fool getting paid to run this school (chairman or something like that)?

sadly, COB been a joke from long time. Sorry for those enrolled here. All my peers who attempted to attend this school back in the day ran and warned others against it. Best option is go abroad, sadly, it's v. costly :(
