OFFICIALS found 30 illegal Cuban immigrants on a makeshift raft in Bahamian waters on Sunday and brought them to Grand Bahama.
Inspector Terecita Pinder reported that the group of men was intercepted by US law enforcement officials shortly after 11am and taken to Grand Bahama, where they were handed over to Department of Immigration authorities.
An investigation into the matter continues.
