"I consider this honour the culmination of my life’s work, one that recognises my unwavering passion for the law and my fervent love of country. My service and what it has meant to me is epitomised by this quote from Theodore Roosevelt that 'far and away the best prize life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing'.
"The law is the indispensable foundation of a civilised nation. In its proper dispensation, application and interpretation it provides the bulwark that protects, guarantees and nurtures the rule of law and ultimately the stability of a nation. I consider myself fortunate to have been given such a precious and awesome responsibility for over 19 years and wholeheartedly say that it has been my esteemed privilege and joy to serve my country in this arena."

I presume that next year it will be Craig Flowers and Sebas! Lastly I do not have a problem with Charles Carter, but some of the Knighthoods that have been bestowed on to are absolutely laughable!!

Carter is and has always been a racist at his core. You only need listen to some of his remarks about the D'Arcy Ryan case in his early days as a broadcaster on ZNS TV to know the depth of the ill-will he harbors towards those he views as either white foreigners or white Bahamians. As for the others mentioned, oh well, let's just say the Queen certainly played no role in handing out the so called "honours". Can you imagine having to say: "Sir Snake"!

when you can have a knighthood given to such a person as Lynden Oscar Pindling then anyone else becomes a joke.

What a joke this government is! They don't want anything to do with colonialism, yet they are very happy to jump up and down for the honours bestowed by the Queen (at their suggestion, of course) What a bunch of wannabe fools we have leading this country.
Who's next -- all the web shop boys and maybe a few drug kingpins too? Or maybe they can make an exception for Nygard? The Queen must be horrified at the Knighthood and Companions for this round. I surely am!

Comrades ain't to blame the two Man's Knights and the one woman's Dame cause we Bahamaland is but one of the 16 Commonwealth realms to hand out these and the other classifications colonial honours to recognise and reward da 'outstanding works' by citizens of those countries - so anointed by the Prime Minister in power.
You want know how colonial these honors really are , no worry I will tell you.
They so colonial that there is the one for the Order British Empire (OBE), the Queen gives out. Think about it - what damn British Empire does Her Majesty hold dominion over?
Comrades fret not cause I say we must allow our two newest Knights and Dame to live in their royal fantasy, that there truly still exists a British Empire?
Hats off one thing Papa Hubert acted properly at - was his refusal be nominated as a Knight - but still he recommended others as Knights and at least one Dame.
So we can say Papa Hubert was a size smaller of Bowler Hat of a PM.
