American arrested for Eleuthera shooting

A 29–year-old American man is in police custody today in connection with a recent shooting incident at Current Island, Eleuthera.

Police in Eleuthera went to a bushy area at Current Island around 1.30pm and arrested the suspect in connection with a shooting that left a man detained in hospital on Tuesday. The victim was later airlifted to hospital in New Providence, where he remains in serious condition.

Perhaps I missed it but I do not recall seeing this story on the TV news last night. Is there more to this story than meets the eye? Certainly the general public would be pleased to have some additional information related to this somewhat unusual incident.
