Re: Xenophobia in The Bahamas.
The Tribune, 17 December, 2014.
DIPLOMACY has been loosely defined as: ‘tact, skill or cunning in dealing with people’.
So fear not, The Bahamas’ reputation is being ably defended by our silver-tongued chief diplomat.

Yeah, I'm afraid there's really nothing here to see. Move along. Is a point being made?
Mr. Mitchell is standing up and defending Bahamians every day. If he were standing up every day trying to protect the rights and create opportunites, employment, culture, and well being for Australians - I would be upset with him. We do not have time or money to spend on people from Australia. They need to take care of themselves. Our own people our hurting, unemployed, pregnant before they are 16 years old, have a D average in schools, and have lots and lots of other problems.
Let Australia take care of itself.
Good work Mr. Mitchell. Thank you for defending the Bahamas, as is your duty and please continue to keep those Australians out if you see any !!!!!

The Bahamas can absorb no more illegal immigrants. Three boat loads coming in December. Something has to be done. Thanks Mr. Mitchell for having the courage.

We are so naive. Immigration for Mitchell is a means to an end. Mitchel has begin his campaign for leader of the PLP. The Bahamian people support on deportation is automatic.Him going to each island is strictly about politics and his leadership aspiration.
