John says...

Do you know the Bahamas is experiencing more violent crime and murder than it did during the cocaine epidemic of the mid 1980's and 1990's? While many persons back then we're hooked on drugs and did crime to support their habit, the respected the sanctity of life and hardly did crimes where they had to confront in such a violent way that it resulted in the loss of life. Today criminals set out with the the intention of taking lives and consider it a part of the territory. They are murderers, raw born killers. This is no indictment on no one government but a sign of the times we live in. Do you know that governments all around the world cannot supply their citizenry with basic essentials such as water, electricity, education and healthcare but they see the need to continually increase taxes on the people? Do you know that corruption and dishonesty is a common cry against governments around the world? That the leaders are getting rich on the backs of the people who are being surely pushed back or deeper into poverty? Do you know that the USA will never be able to pay off its national debt yet it continues to print more money to cover even more debt? Do you know that one church has been preaching for sometime now that things are going progressively worse on the earth and God is calling out to man to give up his love for earthly things and prepare for the Kingdom? At least one other church is teaching that we must not be troubled as these things come to pass and the earth becomes filled with violence. We must continue to live and to share the word for this too will pass. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son to die: John 3:16

In a democracy, there is a separation between church and state. In The Bahamas, you wouldn't know it. In a poorly managed island nation such as this, it stands to reason that crime is on the rise. In Toronto, with a population of 2.63 million there were 13 murders in 2014. In Nassau, with a population of 350,000 there was over a hundred murders in 2014. This island nation is uncivilized, vindictive and revengeful. Statistics prove it.
