POLICE are on the hunt for a man who shot a young mother in the head while she was holding her four-year-old son on Thursday night off Prison Lane, Fort Fincastle.
According to police, the victim was walking to her vehicle with her son around 10pm when a man armed with a handgun shot her and fled on foot.
Assistant Commissoner of Police Stephen Dean said police believe the incident was domestic. He said they are following “significant leads” and have a “good idea” for whom they are searching.
The victim has not yet been officially identified but The Tribune understands she is 23-year-old Krissy Mesidor. Her death brought the country’s murder count to 35 for the year, according to The Tribune’s records.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 328-TIPS.
Investigations continue.

Quick !!!!!! Somebody send a Fedex to the Privy Council. Ask them if this qualifies as "The worst of the worst" ?
I mean, begging our British Over-Lords is always an option for Bahamians, right?
