Champion tomato paste

EDITOR, The Tribune.

ALBURY’S champion tomato paste, which is a Bahamian product faced major issues over the last two months as the product could rarely be found. Imagine my contempt when I found out recently that it was because of a price issue whose resolution was in the hands of another malfunctioning government agency.

We shouldn’t take two months to resolve a price issue especially when it is a local Bahamian owned company.

When are we going to layout the red carpet for Bahamians and get rid of the red tape?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Shakes head -- blows me away. The irony is that this could be an export product. Even if the quantities are minuscule, everything helps in the balance of trade.

I had NO idea that this was a Bahamian product. Are there any others? Can someone produce and circulate a list of Bahamian products that can be found in the food store?
