One dead, two injured after shootings

One man was shot dead and two other people were taken to hospital with gunshot injuries after a fight reportedly broke out at Shady Tree Lane off Mackey Street on Friday night.

Shortly after 11.00pm, police received a report of gunshots being discharged in the area. When they arrived, they searched a man who was acting suspiciously and found a loaded 9 millimetre pistol in his waist. He was taken into custody. They then found a man lying dead on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds and learned that another male and a female had also been shot and taken to hospital.

The male is said to be in serious condition and the female's condition was described as stable.

According to reports, a group were attending a wake at Shady Tree Lane when the fight broke out.

The current rate of murder still poses the country to have a record breaking 148 murders this year! The question are: Is the detection rate and the conviction rate keeping pace with the murder rate.

You're always so enthusiastically reporting when black unarmed American males are shot by police officers, but whenever the tables are turned, you seem to go mute. To intelligent readers, you seem to possess bias and partisan motives. Isn't that right John?
