POLICE are investigating the shooting death of a man who was killed Monday morning.
According to police, the victim was driving in the Palmdale area around 8am when he was accosted by two gunmen who shot him.
He tried to escape his attackers but crashed into a tree where he died in the area of Mount Royal Avenue and Ludlow Street.
Police believe the gunmen escaped the scene in a silver Honda.
The death pushed the country’s murder count to 106 for the year, according to The Tribune’s records.
