BAHAMIAN and US authorities discovered a marijuana field while conducting air patrols in Abaco over the weekend.
According to reports, a team of Drug Enforcement Unit officers with US counterparts were on routine air patrol on Saturday in the southern area of Marsh Harbour when they discovered a field containing some 400 marijuana plants, ranging from four to five feet.
No arrest was made. The plants were uprooted and flown to New Providence. Police are investigating.
